Jessie J: "I want to pay tribute to Nelson Mandela"

The beautiful singer touched down in the country this morning ahead of the I Heart Joburg Music Festival tomorrow. And, even though she gave media the slip at the airport by ducking out a different exit,  she definitely made up for it at the presser this afternoon.

Jessie J was the epitome of cool, calm and collected and was definitely a "journalist's dream" to deal with.

The singer revealed that she's looking forward to paying tribute to Nelson Mandela, while she's in the country. "I've always wanted to visit the street where he lived and would definitely like to try out some traditional food," she said.

Jessie explained that she was an avid foodie and loved cooking, so when she travels she loves sampling what a country has to offer.
