Jo-anne Reyneke: "Fans tell me to pray and that God will provide"

Joburg- Actress Jo-anne Reyneke plays the role of the unlucky Sindisiwe Dube on popular SABC 1 Telenovela, Uzalo. But she says when she meets fans all she gets is love - and a little sympathy.

Jo-anne says she's blown away by all the support and love her character gets.

"People are just sad for her, generally. She's just one of those people that you're like 'come on guys, give her a break'. She's pulled on peoples heart strings quite a bit," she says about her character.

"For some fans it is hard to separate TV and real life. People will often come up to me and offer me words of encouragement and telling me to be strong. I go along with it. To wait and pop their bubble is cruel. I let them go home and tell people 'I saw Sindisiwe and she's so sweet. She doesn't deserve what happening to her. They must keep living the dream," she adds.
