Jonathan Boynton-Lee: "Simba taught me to love unconditionally"

Jonathan Boynton-Lee and Simba Mhere shared a remarkable bond that's difficult to put into words.

Jonathan struggled to contain his grief as he told Simba's family and friends, that he couldn't talk about his "brother" without breaking down.

"We talked about our dreams, and what we wanted to do this year. Everything that we planned to do involved each other," he explained.

Jonathan told friends, that the one thing he learnt from Simba, was to love unconditionally.

Simba's brother recalled their last weekend together, and how happy they were together. "So much was made about our bromance, so we decided to make a fun video, doing 'romantic' things just fooling around. We never laughed so much or so hard," an emotional Jonathan told friends.

"I want you to know I love you and miss you with all my heart. Whenever you are lonely know that I am right beside you.All the time as you dream, spare some time for me. Know I am the angels of your dreams for eternity," read the letter Jonathan wrote.

Jonathan had the entire church tears by playing the video he and Simba made together during their last weekend together.

Friends, family and fans are currently paying tribute to the Top Billing presenter at the Rhema Bible Church.
