Johannesburg - Only five months after he was roped in to save Generations:The Legacy, actor Mutodi Neshehe has been shown the door!
Mutodi was brought in to add spice to Generations, but it's rumoured that Mutodi (who plays the role of Karabo's Lover, Zola) has lost his flavour and Generations bosses aren't pleased.
According to City Press, Mutodi's acting has been a problem for the soapie's bosses and, after several chances, he has yet to impress them.
The star confirms to the paper that he will be leaving the soapie when his contract expires, but rubbishes claims that he is leaving because of his poor acting.
"I had a meeting with the producer. Performance was never an issue. Their claim is that they have too many actors. Could they be telling the truth? Who knows?" he tells the papers.
But fans, and Karabo, will still see a little more of their sweetheart. Mutodi is finishing up his scenes now and will make his last appearance on the show in February.
Just about enough time for Karabo to get over the heart attack, we reckon.
