Johannesburg- Singer Kelly Khumalo claims to have been racially discriminated against.

Kelly took to Instagram where she opened up about an incident involving her and her sister, Zandie at a resturant recently.

The singer explained that from the moment she entered the restaurant, they felt "awkward," and claim that they could feel that "black people are not welcomed there."

Kelly added that the entire situation left her feeling like she was wrong to believe that people just view each other as "human beings" rather than see each other's skin colour.

"I though we've come a long way to still see each other as ppl of color instead of just human beings who were created to love and appreciate each other," she wrote.

In my entire life I never thought I'd experience RACISM at first hand till today! Out of hunger and not wanting to spend the rest of our Sunday on the road @zandie_khumalo @precioustj and I decided to stop @ a place called The Cabin Farm Stall for break fast. Little did we know that Black People are not welcomed there, i could sense the awkwardness when we walked in there, not to mention the silent voices asking what are blacks doing here??? before we knew it the Owner came to our table to complain about God knows WHAT speaking in Afrikaans and made sure we understood that people of our color are not welcomed there, unless you work for them. I thought we've come a long way to still see each other as ppl of color instead of just human beings who were created to love and appreciate each other. #IGuessIWasWrong #MyTruth
