Lerato Moloi in, er, chair drama

Johannesburg - Model Lerato Moloi is at the centre of a firestorm over a chair -but she doesn't mind.

Lerato and fashion designer Felipe Mazibuko's faces were both used in the design of a series of chairs.

According to Sowetan, Felipe was upset by the use of his face on the chairs and says that the designers used his image without his consent or compensation.

But there's no sour grapes in Lerato's garden.

She issued a statement on Wednesday clarifying her stand (or is it sit?) on the issue.

"Miss Moloi, would like to be know that she had spoken to the designer and has no hard feelings of him using her face in the design of the Artsy Chairs".

"She expressed her delight and appreciation of the Artistic designs, and has reported that she will not be seeking any compensation from the artworks," the statement read.

It seems some people in life are just content to be a, uhm, chair...
