Sonia Sedibe is the epitome of a strong woman!

The former Generations star faced many scandals this year, but managed to overcome them with a smile on her face.

Sonia found herself making headlines for different reasons this year. Sonia's nasty divorce from her ex-husband Leslie Sedibe hogged headlines since last year.

Reports revealed that Sonia had moved out of her marital home after Leslie refused to move out, then there were reports that he had allegedly a charge of theft against her.

Within a matter of weeks, Sonia found herself on the front page of every tabloid after she allegedly beat-up her domestic worker. Sonia also suffered a mild stroke earlier in the year and was reportedly fired from the Housewives of Joburg for being a 'diva.'

There were also reports that the actress was struggling financially but she dismissed those rumours.

However, the second half of the year seemed to treat the actress well. Her Instagram account has since been filled with happy snaps of her enjoying life to the fullest.

Guess the one lesson that Sonia's taught us is that no storm lasts forever.
