In case you missed it, Linda Sibiya and Lwazi Thathakahle were accused last year of cheating their way into Edcon's pockets with claims that they were given R1.8 million for an event meant to celebrate and honour Ukhozi FM employees. And as you might've guessed, the event never never happened. As a result, Linda was fired from the station.
Fast forward to 2015: After appearing in the Specialised Commercial Crimes Unit court yesterday for the same case, the former Ukhozi FM DJ told Drum that "the matter is in court for further investigation." He added: "It’s not a new thing because I was told about such allegations last year, so I will wait for the state to furnish my legal team with a statement so that I can respond to the allegations."
He still maintains that he's innocent and that the truth will prevail.
