Luyanda joins the Muvhango team

Dreams certainly do come true.

It's hard to believe that a few years ago the charismatic TV presenter was homeless and filled cars for a living. Luyanda Potwana rose to fame as the host of SABC1's reality show Nyan'Nyan.

And, now he's about to make his acting debut on Muvhango. Sources told Drum magazine that Luyanda will appear in a "small role" on the popular soapie for a few  episodes.

"If he is lucky they might grow his character but right now he is here for a few episodes," the insider told the magazine.

Although Luyanda couldn't reveal too much information he said that acting was always a dream of his. "I always knew I wanted to be on TV, even when I was still an extra. This is just the beginning," he told Drum.
