MUST READ! Kelly breaks her silence

Kelly Khumalo is slowly starting to speak out about the death of her boyfriend, Senzo Meyiwa and the drama that seems to follow her no matter where she goes.

Talk Radio 702's Samantha Cowen interviewed Kelly today and this is what she had to say

ON THAT NIGHT AND RUMOURS THAT SHE WAS INVOLVED

My conscious is clear. I have nothing to worry about. People close to me know how much I loved Senzo and still love him and wouldn't do anything to harm him in any way. I sometimes worry that those people are following us. My question is, why is it taking so long for the law to take its course? I wake up every morning and ask God what went wrong. It saddens me that I might never get the answer.

THE AFTERMATH OF SENZO'S KILLING

I am a witness so I am not allowed to go into detail, but it was tormenting. I did not get the support from some people that I expected. I was accused of things I didn't know about. And I was never given the chance to go through the pain I had because of everything else.

BEING IN THE TABLOIDS

My personal life is splashed across the papers and it's up to me to find a balance between the two.

ABOUT BEING CURSED

I am very grateful with the way my life has turned out. I don't think I'm cursed. I have never felt cursed. I don't embrace negativity. I embrace positivity. I am one of the most blessed people in the country. I used to dream of being a successful musician and now my song is sitting at the top five most played songs in SA. I mean, really, I have to much to be grateful for. Everything in life is seasonal. Embrace it. Enjoy it. Learn to let go.

THAT YVONNE/CHICCO DRAMA

I recorded the song (Asine) in April last year and it went on radio in August. I saw media reports that Yvonne said the song was hers, but it's a totally different song and that song belongs to Chicco Twala. There's no confusion. I don't understand why you would say such things. She should have approached Chicco if she had a problem instead of going to the media. If she had said she wanted a meeting, I would've said yes, let's go and meet with Chicco. I respect her. But I wouldn't go now. I think it's gone the wrong route.

ON SENZO'S FAMILY

I don't know them. I don't wish to know them. I have a blessing, Thingo, and it is my responsibility to protect her from anything negative. That's my duty.

IS SHE DATING AGAIN?

No. But the media will build whatever sells their papers and magazines. I'm a good seller apparently.

ON THE CONTROVERSY THAT FOLLOWS HER

God will never test you with something that you can't handle and that you can't rise above. I have it in me, somehow, to conquer and keep going. I am very spiritual and that has managed to anchor me and give me strength.
