Johannesburg- Actress Mampho Brescia is super private about her personal life, but in a rare personal interview she's opened up about the day she met her knight in shining armour.
Talking to Gareth Cliff on CliffCentral recently, Mampho revealed how running from a stalker helped her find her husband in the gym!
"I went to a different gym before where I had a stalker, and so I left for another gym," she says. "I came to this gym and this man came up to me and started talking to me, he made a joke that I can't remember, which really relaxed me, and I thought he was good looking. There was something about his spirit that made me stop and listen," she adds
She says she fell in love with him almost immediately.
"There was something about his spirit that I connected with. I asked him straight away 'what is your intention? Because if we're not heading to a specific goal I'm not seeing you again," she says. "I can't explain it, there was something so beautiful about his spirit, it was so calming."
The couple have been married for 10 years already, but Mampho says it's been the greatest experience.
"Marriage is hard, but it's beautiful," she says.
