Mandisa Mkhize: "I respect Senzo's decision to be with Kelly Khumalo"

Senzo Meyiwa's wife, Mandisa Mkhize, had apparently accepted his decision to be with Kelly Khumalo. The Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana captain, who was murdered last Sunday, was buried in Durban on Saturday.

Kelly didn't attend the funeral as she reportedly feared for her safety. This came after the singer received a lot of threats and criticism for dating a married man.

But it seems Mandisa wasn't bitter about how things turned out. She told City Press in an SMS: "I respect Senzo's decision to be with Kelly Khumalo. We did not end things on a sour note. He is the father of my daughter and, despite all, he is not a bad person."

She added that she wished him. "I'm at peace with everything."
