Johannesburg - TV presenter and actor Maps Maponyane has a booming year ahead of him.
The Juice recently caught up with the hunky star at the Vodacom Durban July, where he had ladies drooling all over him. But that's not surprising right?
Anyway…back to earth.
In the past few weeks alone Maps has clinched two new TV roles, and has his first feature film releasing at the end of the month.
Just last week, Maps was revealed as the new host of reality show, I am South African.
"I'm looking forward to 'I Am South African' because it's a great opportunity to put on a show that puts people who are making great contributions to their society, community and the country under the spotlight. It's going to be great to hear all of their struggles, challenges and successes and how hard they've worked to get where they are," Maps explained.
And, when it came to those pesky rumours about his relationship with Nomzamo Mbatha, Maps instantly became coy but laughed off the claims.
"All I'm going to say about Nomzamo and I is that we have a new movie called Tell Me Sweet Something releasing at the end of the month. Nomzamo is a great actress and it was awesome working with her. Watch the movie - hopefully you're going to love us in it," Maps laughed.
