Matthew Mole's passport stolen on honeymoon

Johannesburg- Matthew Mole and his wife, Jessica were victims of theft while on honeymoon in Greece recently. 

The singing sensation tied-the-knot to his longtime sweetheart, in an intimate ceremony in Cape Town on 24 August. (Check out the snaps here) 

The lovebirds jetted off for their fairytale honeymoon to Greece a few days later, where they had the time of their lives. 

Unfortunately on their way back home, Matthew and Jessica's passports were stolen, which delayed their trip home by 48 hours, as they tried to get emergency visas. 

Matthew revealed the unfortunate news on Instagram, while apologising to his Durban fans for not being able to make his Durban Day performance as a result. 

Despite the incident, Matthew and Jess seemed to have had a great time, and are back on home soil safely! 

* * * D E A R D U R B A N * * * I was supposed to be at Durban Day this past weekend but unfortunately I didn't quite make it. Over the past two weeks, I've been in Greece with Jess on our honeymoon. Our passports were stolen on our way home, causing us almost two days delay. We managed to get emergency visas and made it home, unfortunately not in time for Durban Day. We've spent the last 48 hours (and counting) in other countries trying to get home. But I wouldn't want to be doing it with anyone else.
