Melusi Yeni: 'I have been given a second chance'

Johannesburg - Earlier this year, The Juice reported that actor Melusi Yeno had been hospitalised with a mystery illness.

Now, after returning to Joburg after keeping a low profile while recovering in Durban, Melusi made his first public appearance at the Uga Jazz Festival.

According to Move!, Melusi says he is grateful to be alive. "I have been given a second chance at life. I was sick and nobody noted that I was dying."

Melusi says he has started working again. "I am grateful for this second chance and I have to say I'm back on my feet and have begun working. Whatever that is false that has been said about me, God will take care of it."

As previously reported by The Juice, Melusi has been embroiled in a maintenance scandal, where his baby mamma claims that he hasn't paid maintenance for his child for months.

Various reports indicated that Melusi might face court action after non-payment.

Either way, we're glad he is better and back on his feet.
