Mfundi Vundla: "We're going back to the roots of Generations"

As the release date for the 'new' Generations draws closer, Mfundi Vundla has revealed what fans can expect.

The creator of the hit soapie sat down for an in-depth interview with Drum magazine, where he told the mag what was in store for viewers.

Mfundi explained that the revamped version of the soapie is subtitled, The Legacy because the Moroka children are coming back to continue Paul Moroka's legacy.

He explained that the people driving the legacy are Paul's grandchildren, who will be played by the young actors joining the cast.

Mfundi added that the past two months have been incredibly stressful for him and he hopes that the story-line is compelling enough to attract Generations' viewers back to the soapie.

We're counting the sleeps to 1 December already!
