Miss World is getting ready to head back to school

Johannesburg - It’s been a whirlwind last year and a half for Rolene Strauss.

Just last year she was in varsity - a medical student at the University of the Free State -  when suddenly her life was turned upside down as she was crowned Miss SA and then Miss World.

But the beauty queen is starting to prepare for life after her reign- and it involves returning to the books.

Rolene took to social media recently to explain how playing ‘doctor’ with her dad (who is an actual doctor) in hospital recently motivated her to start preparing to continue her medical studies next year.

"Playing 'doctor' with my dad at the hospital and had to brush up on some anatomy... Studying again next year and can't not be ready ?? #StudentOfLifeThisYear #MedicalStudentNextYear," she wrote of her experience.
