Money for sex? Which divorced couple is this HECTIC report about?

The Star is running with a damning report that gives details into the divorce battle between a well-known Joburg businessman and his socialite/actress ex-wife.

While the story has no names, there's already speculation on who it is.

WHAT HE SAYS...

In the divorce papers, which the newspaper says it is in possession of, the husband has accused his wife of wanting cash before sex. It says she was a heavy drinker who would verbally abuse him when she was drunk.

The paper gives details on how she hadn't shown him love or affection since he filed for divorce and when he tried to talk about things, she said she had always been unhappy, despite telling a different story on the cover of magazines.

He has also said that she did not share the same values as him. He says he wanted to focus on making his children and family a priority - something she was not focussed on. He also said she was friends with people who did not share the same moral values as himself.

WHAT SHE SAYS...

Meanwhile, the woman in the documents claims that her husband was jealous, controlling and made her quit her acting career and forced her from seeing her friends.

She says that he was against her having friendships with gays and lesbians and prevented her from seeing her closet friends. She claims that he exhibited 'cruel and unkind' behaviour towards her children from a previous relationship.

WHO GETS WHAT?

According to The Star, they signed an antenuptial contract before their wedding in 2006. This means that he gets to keep two properties while she will keep a house on the West Rand.

They get joint custody, with the children alternating between their two homes every week.

The man will pay R5 000 per child every month and is responsible for school fees, uniforms and any extramural activities.

Yoh. Divorce is ugly hey.
