Move! reports Zola embroiled in child maintenance saga

Johannesburg- It seems like kwaito legend Zola  just can't escape the drama. 

Move! magazine is reporting that Zola's ex-girlfriend has turned to the courts in an attempt to force him to pay papgeld. 

But the muso has hit back claiming that his ex, Garnett Maseko, of refusing to let him see his kids, of selling the clothes he buys for them and of neglecting them.

In an interview with the mag, Zola explained that he had apparently informed the court about not paying June's maintenance, because he was prevented from seeing his children.

Zola added that it devastates him that his children sometime sleep on empty stomachs, their teachers complain that they go to school looking dirty, and without their homework done. 

The musician's children apparently attend a posh private school in Parktown, which he pays for. 

"I buy clothes for my children in bulk at the beginning of each season and she promptly has a jumble sale at her home and sells most of the clothes for half price. If I buy 10 dresses, she sells eight and leaves two. My two kids look malnourished. When they visit me, they cry when they have to go back to their mother," he explained.
