Movies: The Humbling

Overview: An old, suicidal stage actor, Simon Axler, struggles to find his passion for life again. He's almost close to his breaking point but finds motivation from a young lesbian, Pegeen Stapleford, who's always had a crush on him.

What's it about? Their relationship soon gets hot, but Simon finds it hard to keep up with Pegeen. He is, however, very happy with his new love and feels more alive than ever. But the relationship gets a lot of criticism from people. Will Simon continue with the affair or will he crumble under the pressure?

Our fave bits: Although we felt the movie could have been a lot better, we enjoyed seeing the chemistry between Simon and Pegeen.
