In a nutshell: Hip hop princess, Iggy Azalea, gets the help of British singer/songwriter, Charli XCX, on her latest single Fancy. It's tearing up the US charts but how good is it really?
What’s it like: A slightly more ghetto Royals. If Lorde was a bit more hip hop and loads more arrogant she would sound like this. Talking about the fancy life, Iggy's rhymes are framed nicely by Charli XCX's powerful vocal performance but the song ends too soon to leave any real satisfaction
Fave Bit: Iggy's slick rhymes which seem to fall off her lips and onto the hip hop walkway of excellence. Especially when she's talking about trashing the mini bar and saying" "who dat?, who dat?" - so ghetto!
Rating: Iggy Azalea lays some really thick rhymes on her new single, Fancy, and the chorus vocals by Charli XCX make it that much better, but we still left a bit empty 4/5
