In a nutshell: After three full days of teasing, we finally got to hear the eagerly anticipated first single from Nicki's upcoming album, The Pink Print. The track,  Pill n Potion.

What’s it like: A Nicki without any emotional make-up. While the world was waiting for a new rap bomb from Nicki, the hip hop princess sneaked in with a powerful ballad that really shows off the power of Nicki's voice.

Fave Bit: When she sings "I get high off your memory". It's quite deep actually, especially given the intense emotion around the track.

Rating: Billed as a game changer, Pill n Potion is more a mellow reflection than a spitting rap battle. It really reflects the versatility and strength of Nicki's talent that has seen her rated as the most powerful female hip hop artist in the game. 4/5
