In a nutshell: Is there any stopping Pharrell Williams? Every single song the guy sings or touches turns to gold. He did it with Happy and again with Marilyn Monroe but can his latest single, Come Get It Bae keep up the hot streak of hits coming from the Pharrell factory?
What’s it like: Twerking at a Jazz club. Pharrell brings his signature fun sound to Come Get It Bae, mixing it with random but funny lyrics that are really fun to sing along to. Pharrell's ghetto classic vocals are punctured occasionally by Miley Cyrus who adds just a little more to a song that, like many of his hits, are really catchy in the moment but may get a bit much when put on heavy rotation.
Fave Bit: A pretty crazy set of rhymes about riding a bicycle and popping wheelies. We're sure there's a symbolism there but for now we'll just laugh (and dance) along to the crazy catchy sound of the lyrics.
Rating: Destined to spawn a new buzzword with "Bae", Pharrel has done it again! Making a single that makes us dance to crazy music! 4/5
