Music Producer Prosper in a coma after accident

Hit local music producer Prosper Mkwaiwa is in a coma with severe head injuiries after being flung from his car in an accident this past weekend.

The incident,which happened at 9am on Sunday morning in Pretoria, was confirmed by Prosper's wife, Tina yesterday.

A tearful Tina told the Sowetan that her husband had been in an accident and had been taken to the Steve Biko Academic Hospital on Sunday where doctors had told her he had dislocated his jaw and has several other head injuries.

“It’s true, my husband was in an accident yesterday morning on his way home from a meeting. His condition is really bad. I can’t see him right now because he is in theatre,” she told the Sowetan.

Tina went on to say she is distraught  by the incident and fears the worst.  “I am traumatized, I could not identify him when I saw him lying in bed with tubes, I am confused, can’t sleep and highly stressed. I don’t know if he will be able to talk, or walk when he recovers. I am anxious,” she said.
