In a nutshell: Rita Ora's new single, I Will Never Let You Down, recently topped the UK charts, her fourth single to do so.
What’s it like: A flash in the pan pop song, in every sense. Loud pop-dance beats and a strong voice captures the attention but, like most pop songs, it looks like it will date really quickly and will be on the bottom of your CD rack or iTunes playlist by the end of the month
Fave Bit: "You've been watching me, forgot to have a good time" is one of the strongest and relatable lyrics on a song that lacks a lot of sense lyrically.
Rating: Rita has the kind of voice that could make a song about dog food sound enticing. She uses that voice to great effect on I Will Never Let You Down, helped by some 80's disco and electro beats that somehow make the song pleasant enough to listen to for the first time. It just lacks that little extra to make you press repeat. 3/5
