Musician remains behind bars over Porsche theft

Johannesburg - There was no "get out of jail free" card for former Twins musician, Lucky Shabangu, when he appeared in court last Friday.

The 90's RnB singer appeared in court on Friday for the theft of a Porsche in Cape Town worth R1 million. But his case was again postponed, this time to the 8th of June, to allow for further investigation.

And while the state alleges Lucky is a flight risk with previous convictions and a pending eviction notice, Luky says he is innocent of all charges and should be let off.

According to Sunday Sun, Lucky told the court; "I'll assist the SAPS with an alibi. The car could not have been stolen. This is a waste of state resources.
