Johannesburg- Rap queen Nadia Nakai has proved that she's a force to be reckoned with.
The female rapper proudly announced on Instagram recently that she had just signed her first endorsement deal.
Nadia was careful not to give away too much detail, because the company still has to make the official announcement.
But even though we don't know who the deal is with, it's still something to celebrate, considering the hip-hop industry in SA is still very male-dominated, right?
Hip-hop heavyweight Slikour congratulated Nadia on the great news and encouraged people to clap for her because this is a great achievement for female rappers in the country.
It's believed that Nadia is the first female rapper in the country to sign an endorsement deal, which is generally reserved for TV presenters or radio personalities.
Wow- can someone say girl power!
