Naija rapper Davido gives a milli to a struggling fan

Johannesburg - Back in July, Nigerian superstar Davido promised that if he reached a million followers on Instagram he would give away a million Nairas.

Well, Davido is a man of his word!

The rapper hit the milestone last week, became the first Nigerian to do so, and has celebrated by handing a check for 1 million Nairas to a deserving fan. That's over R65,000!!

The lucky fan is Olajide Daniel Sanyaolu, a student studying in the UK.

Olajide has been struggling with school fees and opened a GoFundMe page to help him raise the £24,700 needed for his tuition so that he could apply for a student visa.

He had raised a little more than £3,900 before Davido came to rescue.

Who needs NASFAS when we have Davido?!
