Nandi opens up about Cassper and Riky Rick's struggles

Johannesburg - From demo rejections to selling out shows, Cassper Nyovest and Riky Rick have walked a long and hard road to rap stardom. And, Nandi Mngoma was there to witness it all.

Nandi took to social media this week, to pay tribute to the two rappers, and opened up about the struggles they have faced together.

"GOD is good to these brothers!," she wrote.

"Why? I remember @rikyrickworld I think about 4 years ago (If not more than that) giving out his DOPE mixtapes to myself and many others, and that mixtape was so dope.. My mom even liked it.. Of course some songs I skipped...LOL! I remember this cheese boy who all the girls from the private schools used to love and fight over (Yes ladies have ALWAYS loved Riky lol!). But this guy always used to produce these amazing beats (I still want my beats Riky), she wrote.

She also revealed that a few years ago, her and Cassper were screwed over by a producer, an event that brought them closer.

"And, @casspernyovest well I think it was 3 years ago I called him to speak to him about a certain producer (who must be kicking himself now- no names mentioned), who screwed both of us over as two kids hustling this music thing with NO money."

"MORAL OF THE STORY HERE.. These guys have BEEN at it! Success definitely isn't overnight and they deserve all the success they're getting now. As I know first hand, how hard they have BEEN hustling. Big up to these brothers. Support them! This is their passion. #Proud #NotIndustryTalk #RealTalk" she wrote.
