Nandi Mngoma reflects on her humble beginnings

Johannesburg- Nandi Mngoma took some time out to reflect on her journey into the industry.

The TV personality and actress is excited ahead of the premiere of, The Road, on 31 August.

But Nandi want's her fans to know that it hasn't always been an easy road to where she is today.

Nandi took to Instagram to share with fans what it felt like when she landed in Joburg ten years ago.

Congrats Nandi...here's to ten more years!

Quick story: The day I landed in Jhb as an 18 year old Durbanite moving out of home to pursue my dreams. I got a call from my agent saying I had an audition they wanted me to go to the very same day I landed in Jhb, I still had my bags with, took a cab and rushed to the casting. That's when I first met talents my age like @AmandaDuPont . We were starry eyed and new to the industry. I did my very first casting in JHB and to my surprise I got the job! I got to work with the Legendary director Teboho Mahlatsi who then had directed Yizo Yizo from Bomb productions. Who would've thought that almost 10 years later I would be working with them again! And in between those years I would experience rejection, appreciation and celebration. I say this to many people because it's true.. No one and nothing can come between your God and the talent you have been blessed with. I'm honoured to work with the guys who brought you Yizo Yizo, Zone 14, Isibaya etc. and now... #TheRoad #StellarCast #31August #About2015 #LifeLessons ??
