Johannesburg - We all know Nandi Mngoma is an African queen, but when the queen visited DRC Congo this week, even she learnt a few lessons.
Nandi reveals she was always taught by the media to fear the DRC, but she says believing that has robbed her of the truth.
"No the DRC is not perfect, could improve in terms of development and structure etc. BUT the people are some of the kindest, friendliest people you'll ever meet," she told her social media friends and fans.
"I went to the South African Consulate in Lubumbashi today and they only had praise for the people of Congo and how peaceful they are and how you can even walk at night with money. I feel like I have been lied to. So I ask before you think you know a place, visit it and experience the truth for yourself," she continued.
Meanwhile, Nandi is having the time of her life and is slowly falling in love with the Congo .
