Ne-Yo: It's an honour to be here

Johannesburg- It's not surprising that RnB sensation Ne-Yo had ladies drooling all over him from the moment he touched down in SA.

The So Sick singer jetted into the Zulu Kingdom on Thursday night for the MTV MAMAs, which takes place tonight.

The Juice was lucky enough to get a selfie with the superstar (SCREAMS) and have a chat with him on Friday evening at a press conference ahead of the awards.

Ne-Yo, who is no stranger to Mzansi but is visiting sunny Durban for the first time, says that he's looking forward to doing things the way his fans here do it.

"Once my performance is done, you'll probably catch me somewhere in the audience, being a fan and watching what you guys are doing. I'm happy to be here and am looking forward to educating myself and experiencing as much as possible about this side of the world," he said.

The superstar explained that it is an honour and privilege for him to be in the country apart of the show.

"Music knocks down all barriers, race, colour and gender, which is great. It's a privilege to be here and I'm excited," he added.

And, on a much lighter note, ladies - if you're single and in Durban, then you'll be happy to know that Ne-Yo is looking for someone to show him around and as much of our beautiful city as possible.
