280 guests, 30 planners and a 30-tier cake: Somizi and Mohale share more details on their white wedding

We may have to wait for their Showmax special before we get a full look at their wedding, but Somizi and Mohale have kept us intrigued by sharing a little more about their special day.

The couple, who were guests on Metro FM's breakfast show on Friday, opened up about their traditional and white wedding which took place within months of each other.

When asked about his favourite moment from their white wedding, Somizi said it was the look on Mohale's face when they saw each other for the first time at the ceremony.

"For me, [it] would be walking down the aisle. Yoh! It was beautiful. Seeing Mohale's reaction, because we hadn't seen each other on that day, and we didn't know each other's outfits [and] what they looked like. So, for me, that was one of the highlights."

He adds that the décor, which was taken care of by Zavion Kotze, was also highpoint.

Mohale, on the other hand, said the dance floor was his favourite place to be. "I had never danced like that in my entire life. I can't dance, but on that day, I did the most."

When it came to putting together such a massive event, Somizi mentioned that he had a team of 30 wedding planners. Sjoe!

And while you would think that Somgaga would have over-the-top requests for the big day, the couple confessed that it was actually Mohale who was drawn to the extreme.

"He wanted a 30-tier cake. He wanted to arrive on a horse cart with 12 white horses," Somizi explained.

"It was interesting because I got to see a different side of him and really, he got to see a different side of me," Mohale added.

According to the couple, they had 480 guests at their traditional wedding, and 240 guests at their white wedding. During the interview, they also let slip that there may be a third wedding in Italy
