Sneaker Exchange squeaking back to Cape Town

Cape Town –In case you missed it an event called Sneaker Exchange took place in The Mother City in May 2016 and was a total hit with sneaker heads and music fans alike.   

The ultra-cool gathering is coming back to Cape Town so we’ve made a list of 5 things you should know before you go to the event on Saturday, 28 October 2017.

Here are 5 things you need to know about sneaker exchange squeaking back to Cape Town:

1. What is Sneaker Exchange? 

Officially known as the largest sneaker trading event in Africa where sneaker collectors and aficionados can buy, sell or trade sneakers as well as buy locally produced apparel and footwear, Sneaker Exchange (SXC) boasts close to 3,000 attendees per event in city centres such as Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban and includes a live music experience. 

The event has already taken place this year in Johannesburg and The Juice was there to give you all the greatest pics. 

2. Who will be on the line-up?

The live entertainment line-up will include artists such as Cassper Nyovest, Youngsta CPT, J.Molley, Nadia Nakai and Frank Casino. Local DJs in attendance are noted as being DJ Capital, JJ Fresh and Lord Veezus. The event will also play host to local fashion labels, big-name brand activations, food vendors, live sneaker customisation, as well as a barber on site. 

3. Where and when will Sneaker Exchange take place? 

SXC will be in Cape Town on Saturday, 28 October 2017 at Castle of Good Hope from 11:00 to 19:00. 

4. How much are tickets for sneaker exchange and where can I get them? 

Pre-sale tickets are available online for R80 per person, and R100 at the door.
