9 celebs who #respekthedoek and look fabulous!

Cape Town - We take a look at our local celebs who took #RespekTheDoek to a whole new level.

The hashtag #repsekthedoek started trending on Thursdsay when eNCA journalist, Nontobeko Sibisi, alleged that her insert was was taken off air because she was wearing a headscarf (or doek) for Africa Day last week.

"My fight is simple - the free choice to wear a doek today, tomorrow and on any other day I wake up and deem #DoekDay it's Africa, and it raised me, Lord knows that Doek raised me." She posted on Instagram.

According to City Press, "In a candid email sent to her colleagues, Sibisi expressed her disappointment at the "unjustifiable injustice" and the manner in which her story was taken off-air."

Here are our some of our favourite ladies slaying the "doek" game.
