Johannesburg – As much as we love watching our favourite sportsmen, sometimes we just have to take a moment to appreciate the woman who support them. Because you know what they say, “behind every sport star is a sexy wife/girlfriend.”

Okay, nobody says that, but we’ll pretend it’s a thing.

1. Sue Duminy – wife of proteas player, JP Duminy. 

2. Aisha Baker – well known for her beauty blog, Baked the Blog, Aisha Baker recently became the wife of cricketer Wayne Parnell. 

3. Nonhle Ndala – this beauty is the girlfriend of professional soccer player, Andile Jali.

4. Bokang Montjane – this former Miss SA is happily married to Bafana player and Kaizer Chiefs captain, Siphiwe Tshabalala. 

5. Karlien van Jaarsveld – singer Karlien van Jaarsveld is currently engaged to former rugby player, Joe Breytenbach.

6. Chesney Campbell – Wayde van Niekerk made headlines at the Rio Olympics when he walked away with the gold medal in the mens 400m final.

Many ladies were sad to find out that Wayde is indeed taken. Sorry girls, he belongs to Chesney.
