Cape Town - She’s always in the news: if it isn’t about fashion, it’s about her relationships or her achievements.

TV/radio presenter and businesswoman Bonang Matheba, who reportedly spilt from rapper bae AKA, is doing well for herself.

Now the 30-year-old has reportedly bought the Rust en Vrede Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, after she posted several pictures of herself in the vineyard and captioned one snap: “I’ve always wanted a vineyard”.

However, Davin Phillips, communications director for Celebrity Services Africa, set the record straight while speaking to The Juice: "No, Bonang has not purchased Rust en Vrede Wine Estate. She was only having a business lunch. She never made any claim that she did, and the story has been blown out of proportion."

Blergh, sigh! Meanwhile, here are some of Queen B’s achievements so far:

From  A to B book release

Bonang released her book, From A to B, last July. It’s based on her career decisions and secrets of how she created her brand. However, the error-ridden book caused a storm and was recalled and reprinted.

Cell C endorsement

Following in Kim Kardashian West’s Kimoji footsteps, Bonang teamed up with local mobile network service provider Cell C to create BMoji by Bonang – a set of emojis that can be downloaded on iOS and Android.

Being Bonang reality show

Queen B teamed up with DStv and Vuzu to broadcast her reality TV show, Being Bonang. The show had her fans in a frenzy but Bonang later announced there won’t be a second season.

Red-carpet host for E! Africa

After being off screens for a while, she came back with a bang: Bonanag was announced as the red-carpet host for E! Africa. She hosted the Saftas and Samas alongside the first E! Entertainment Africa host, Katleho Sinivasan.

Revlon SA ambassador

After tweeting that she’ll be joining the likes of Halle Barry in becoming the global ambassador of well known make-up brand Revlon, Bonang quickly backtracked and said she’s just the South African ambassador for the American cosmetics giant.
