Set to be a summer hit, Distruction Boyz’s Omunye is making waves across the country.

Durban-born duo Thobani “Cue” Mgobhozi and Zipho “Gold” Mthembu aka Distruction Boyz recently shot the music video for the single in a mansion in Sandton, Johannesburg. A host of celebs show up in the vid, including DJ Tira, Soweto’s Finest, R&B singer Donald and Khanyi Mbau. “The song is about being cramped in one room during a party. The video is us entering the house and seeing beautiful people enjoy themselves,” Distruction Boyz said.

Cue and Gold (both 20) say nothing they’re ready to take the festive season by storm. “We have been working very hard and our time is now.” Distruction Boyz’s album, Gqom is the Future, is out now.
