The most recent episode of popular reality show Our Perfect Wedding, which aired at 19:00 on Sunday evening, was met with shock and sorrow. Before the episode aired, an announcement was made to let viewers know the bride, Stella Malebye, had died mere days after her wedding and that the episode was dedicated to her family and friends.
The episode followed the love story of the 46-year-old and her husband, David (48). The couple met in December 2015 at a mutual friend’s house. At the time Stella was going through a messy divorce and had no intentions of starting a new relationship. The two bumped into each other a while after their first meeting and she agreed to give him her phone number.
Fast forward to March 2020, the pair had their fairy-tale wedding. Exchanging her vows, Stella said she’d finally found the love she’d always dreamt of.
Reacting to the episode, viewers admired how smitten the pair were.
Just as the episode aired, Stella’s daughter, Bella, took to Facebook to pay tribute to her mother."Last week Sunday was my first Mother's Day without you. This week Sunday your matrimony is going live on Our Perfect Wedding without watching it with you same way you passed on a week after your wedding days. Really mom you have touched many hearts [sic],” her post read.
The news of Stella’s death left many saddened.
