After going to ground[He was travelling to the UK for
a gig] since the news broke Nasty C has finally spoken through his manager
Ayanda Ngobo, telling a story of gratitude for what has been a great year.
“I’m really excited about the nomination,” Nasty C
said. “I’m not often excited about the awards but this particular one means a
lot to me. Whether I win or not, being nominated is a huge milestone.”
What of the recent home invasion where it was reported
that Nasty C was tied up and held at gunpoint at his home in Jo’burg [It had
been reported that laptops were among the items stolen during the robbery,
which included a R488 000 Rolex watch, and a number of tablets and cellphones]?
The laptop, it was reported, had a year’s worth of work.“It’s safe to say Nasty C has moved on,” said
Ayanda. “He’s not dwelling on the incident. Despite the R100 000 reward no one
has come forward with information that can lead us to recovering the laptop and
the rest of the stolen goods.”
