The Queen has actors and actresses you’d think are comedians or comediennes. If it’s not Brutus played by Themba Ndaba, it’s definitely the Mabuzas’ maid Patronella played by Thembsie Matu.
Remember when Patronella baked a cake for Gracious and used cocaine instead of icing sugar? She was then caught in the middle when the Mabuza family and Kagiso Khoza started going “crazy”.
She caught her employer, Gracious, with a lot of drug money. She couldn’t resist getting her hands on the stash.
Gracious and her daughter had an argument. When Gracious slapped Godness, Patronella intervened by applauding her employer.
She was unfairly fired by Gracious, who accused her of stealing the drug money from the safe-keeping machine. What did she want in exchange? A cuppa poured by her former employer and an 80% salary increase – after claiming she’s emotionally stressed.
