Johannesburg – On Friday 8 November, the new Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa was crowned at Emperor's Palace in Gauteng.

The competition saw Mrs SA 2019 Matapa Rikhotso hand over her crown to successor Jacqueline Ferns from Limpopo.

According to a post on the Mrs SA Instagram page, 31-year-old Jacqueline "has a degree in Criminology from the University of the Free State and is an entrepreneur and owns 3 businesses with a 100% women employment [sic]".

The post goes on to say: "She represents the modern women, the business women, the mother. She believes if we empower the women around us we start a ripple effect of empowerment [sic]."

Jacqueline Ferns, 31 years old, from Polokwane in Limpopo, walked away with the crown of Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa 2020 and Mrs Charity during a glitz and glamorous production, at Emperors Palace in the City Of Ekurhuleni. She has a Degree in Criminology from the University of the Free State and is an entrepreneur and owns 3 Businesses with a 100% women employment. She is married to Lyndon and has fostered 3 beautiful boys. She is on the board of Directors at Ngwana Baby House, where they work with Orphaned and Abandoned babies. She represents #SheIsBonafide women because she will never let any situation define who She is. strong, passionate and ambitious. She represents the modern women, the business women, the wife, the mother. She believes if we empower the women around us we start a ripple effect of empowerment.
