Adè van Heerden: I shared my heart with the Miss World judges

Cape Town - Adè van Heerden, who was runner-up at the Miss SA 2017 pageant, is representing South Africa in Sanya, China at The Miss World Pageant.

For those who might not know, first runner-up, Adè is competing in The Miss World pageant in China while Miss South Africa 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters competes in the Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas. Both competitions take place at the same time. 

ICYMI: The doctor shared her traditional costume for the event back in October and got the rainbow nation talking. 

On Monday Adè completed her interview with The Miss World judges and posted a picture on her Instagram with the following caption: “It is in moments of vulnerability that we open our hearts to connect with those around us. Today I had my interview and I shared my heart with the @missworld judges. I stayed true to myself, my country and my continent. South Africa, thank you for taking hands and walking this journey with me. (sic)”
