Johannesburg – After 9 years of hard work, things are finally starting to fall into place for hip-hop DJ, PH, who was one of four newly appointed DJ’s at 5FM.
Speaking to The Juice after his performance at Superbalist In The City, the DJ says it’s been a hectic year for him.
“I’ve had a crazy year. I have a show on 5FM now, which I’ve been knocking on their door for maybe four or five years.”
After being in the industry for nine years, PH, who is set to drop his first single with HHP and Kwesta soon, says he is finally getting some recognition. “I’m here. I’m just happy that there’s finally progress.”
His schedule is also getting a lot busier.
“I’ve done Oppikoppi, I just come from Rocking The Daisies, I’ve got two other massive festivals I’m playing at and I’ve got an international tour at the end. As a DJ, not many can say they’ve done In The City, Rocking The Daisies, Oppikoppi all in one year.”
