AKA continues his rant on Women's Day

Cape Town – Bonang’s controversial bae AKA tweeted out his feelings on being a vocal public figure on Tuesday, 9 August – which is Women’s Day in South Africa.

ICYMI the star recently found himself in hot water following his tweets criticizing the four women who staged a protest against rape at a press conference where President Jacob Zuma was speaking.

Here’s what AKA said in a series on tweets:

It's tricky mate. As a public figure you can get blasted for your opinion and get blasted for not having one. What can WE as MEN do to make this country better for our women? It's like we need to shut up and let you figure it out for yourselves...Damned if you do. Damned if you don't. Until some master plan miraculously appears. Guys, just do the best you can. As brothers, partners, fathers, uncles ..... Please.

The rapper then posted a picture of what he is currently reading: a men's fashion magazine and a book on the militant wing of the ANC.
