Anele on Safta nominations: This is amazing

Cape Town - The Juice reached out to Real Talk with Anele host, Anele Mdoda, who has been nominated for two South African Film and Television Awards to ask her how it feels to be recognised for her work this year.

Anele is nominated for Best Talk Show Host and her show is nominated for Best Talk Show. Anele's sister, Tembisa - who has hosted bridal TV show Our Perfect Wedding - is also nominated.

Here's what Anele had to say about her nomination: "The real recipients of these nominations are the people who sat on my couch and trusted me with their stories and you, South Africa who watch daily, I am simply the vehicle. I am so happy that something I have wanted to do since I saw Oprah do it, has not only come to life but is being honored on such a platform. I cannot wait for the 18th of March, to share a room with the industry greats that I sponge off but to also support my sister who is also nominated for a SAFTA ! This is amazing ! (sic)"
