Babes spends more time 'partying' than 'praying'

Cape Town - Babes Wodumo's congregation says the singer has been "dololo" in church since making it big in the music industry. 

Babes' father, who is the Bishop at the Mount Zion Faith Mission in Lamontville in Durban, has been urging young people to come to church, yet members of the congregation says that his own daughter hasn't been seen in church for months.

The Daily Sun reported that churchgoers are worried about her absence. "His daughter is forever out and about and constantly skipping church," a church member said.

According to sources close to the publication Babes allegedly spends more time popping champagne and shaking her booty with fans instead of attending church.

A churchgoer said, "At first we understood she was doing it for work purposes, but we haven't seen her for months now. On the other hand, the bishop stresses that young people need to be always in church, while his daughter's a no-show."

Another member said, "Her dad shouldn't dwell a lot on young people not coming to church as his own daughter doesn't bother to."
