Cape Town - Local rapper Cassper Nyovest has secured three major sponsors for Fill Up FNB Stadium.
With Fill Up FNB Stadium creeping closer, Cassper revealed in an interview with Masechaba Ndlovu on Metro FM that he is "broke."
Cassper said the show cost him R15 million to put together and that the stage alone cost R5,2 million. The local rapper invested so much money into the concert, that two employees had not been paid and he is trying looking to sell one of his luxury cars to cover costs.
But with Cassper's latest announcement that three major sponsors - Ciroc, SABC 1 and Budweiser - have jumped on board it seems like the Tito Mboweni hitmaker might be in the clear.
Cassper wrote on Instagram: "Thank you sooo much to @cirocsa @mzansi_fosho and @budweiser for partnering with me on this journey to make history and change our industry forever!"
Tickets for the 2 December gig, Fill Up FNB Stadium, are available at Computicket. Tickets range from R100 to R500.
