Johannesburg – In the early hours of Monday morning local rapper Chad Da Don was involved in a car crash. The star shared news of the incident on Instagram, adding a photo of himself in hospital.
An official press statement revealed details of the accident.
“Chad Da Don was involved in a serious car accident in the early hours of Monday morning, 10 April 2017. Chad was driving along the M52 when he temporarily lost control of his vehicle on a gravel surface and went off the road. He sustained minor injuries considering the severity of the accident and is currently recovering in hospital. No one else was involved or injured in the accident,” the statement reads.
Speaking to The Juice, Chad says he is in pain but doing well. "I have a bit of whiplash and I'm very sore, especially since I have three pins in my hand. But other than that, I am strong and I am blessed. I appreciate all the love that's been coming through from fans."
On Wednesday the rapper shared snaps of the wreckage, writing, "This is what I came out of… My God is alive and has a purpose for me."
