Co-owner and CEO of Cashtime Life steps down

Cape Town  - Thabiso Khati who hip-hop fans might know as the co-owner and CEO of Cashtime Life - and others might know as Bridget Masinga’s ex-husband - has decided to step down from the record label.

This latest departure from the record label follows Nomuzi and Kid X’s exits in 2016.

In a statement released to the press Khati said:

“I am excited to announce to you my newest business venture: managedxthabiso (Pty) Ltd.  It is a talent management firm which focuses on the following, to help talent navigate and understand the complex and ever changing entertainment business; to create new opportunities for talent and maximize existing opportunities; to put a structure in place to help build their business and to create and grow their revenue streams. Moving forward, I will be solely focused on building managedxthabiso (Pty) Ltd and the careers of the talent we represent. I will therefore no longer be involved in any Cashtime Life business. I will forever be grateful to my Cashtime Life partners and team. We achieved some pretty dope things and we helped push the culture forward. “
